Positive Male Role Models RSHE - Addressing Harmful Influences and Gender Stereotypes. In this lesson, students will explore the positive qualities and characteristics to consider when choosing a role model to emulate or be influenced by.
Created to counter the harmful views propagated by online influencers such as Andrew Tate, this lesson empowers children to become critical consumers of information, rather than accepting online hearsay as fact. Intended as a gentle precursor to secondary school topics of misogyny and toxic masculinity, this lesson reminds students of their previous learning on gender stereotypes and applies this knowledge to new scenarios related to harmful gender stereotypes.
While this lesson does not explicitly name Andrew Tate, we will apply our critical thinking skills to an age-appropriate selection of Tate’s quotes without crediting him as the influencer (please note that we have been careful to select examples that include no sexual references or violence). This lesson is suitable for students in UKS2 (Year 6) or possibly LKS3 students in Year 7.

New PSHE lesson all about how seeking personal validation from social media and influencers can be harmful to our mental health. The editable resource pack includes a detailed PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets and follows a wanna-be fashion influencer called Estelle, as she navigates the ups and downs of her social media feed. Students will learn why we naturally crave validation and how social media gives us a false sense of popularity, friendship and self-worth. They will explore we can never really tell how successful or unsuccessful people really are behind their phones. Created for KS4 but could be used with KS3.
There are a variety of tasks, from creative to literacy, to clip and analysis. Everything is editable and ready to go.

Love and Romance (falling in love and romantic feelings) PSHE / RSE lesson. Created in 2023 to cover both the DfE and PSHE Association’s current guidelines. Students will investigate what it feels like to fall in love and have romantic feelings, what exactly is going on in the brain to cause us to feel this way, how it can present problems, make us act differently, and how to handle feelings appropriately. They will examine real life case studies from teenagers who have fallen in love, the problems this has caused them and how they have coped with hurt and rejection as well as happiness. Online safety / Internet safety - EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about online safety, with a particular focus on privacy and avoiding sharing pictures or information about ourselves online. We will also discuss a selection of case studies that cover additional online safety topics such as popups, keeping passwords secure, and being kind to others online.
The lesson includes a sing-along starter (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a video link to Jeanne Willis’ Goldilocks (A Hashtag Cautionary Tale), an adult-led focus task, independent activities to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.
2 HOUR LESSON - New self-esteem lesson for 2023 to cover both the DfE and PSHE Association’s guidelines. Everything is editable. engaging and easy to follow, with a variety of activities, from scaffolded written tasks, clip tasks, creative tasks, case study analysis and much more.
Students will investigate the importance of self-esteem, the various factors that can affect our self-esteem and how we can work to boost it. They will also explore the psychology behind self-esteem, why setbacks feel like a big deal to some and not others and how to be resilient and manage their own self-esteem levels throughout challenges in life.

This lesson covers both Gatsby Guidelines and the PSHE Association’s objectives for Living in the Wider World KS3. Everything is editable. engaging and easy to follow. Lesson plan included.
Students will discover their own personal skills, strengths, interests, qualities and values by assessing examples, completing progress templates, creative and fun tasks, video clip tasks, partnered activities and much more. They will then investigate the employability skills their potential future employers are looking for in the modern world, and see just how much their personal attributes have already started to apply. They will also set realistic but ambitious goals about those they wish to develop and begin thinking about how their interests and values could also help them decide upon a career path.

Telling the Truth - EYFS PSHE lesson.
